Boy and girl discover
ability to create fantasy world with music and enter it once for a
short time. Girl maturing, doesn’t have the imagination to do
it anymore. Boy depressed. Not “trying” to fall asleep –
dangerous; Spider gate-guard tries to contact boy several times
through dreams. Boy frustrated at failures and can’t get in.
Sad and depressed for a while. Shares secret with librarian. Boy’s
family moves. Shares again with dentist. Spider contacts. Boy goes
back to fantasy world. Learns of evil dragon ravaging land.
Accidentally goes back and goes to dentist and librarian: but dentist
already dead from car accident. Librarian comes with him to fantasy
world. Turns young again. Falls in love with boy. But boy remembers
girl and refuses librarian. Librarian leaves and wanders in mourning
through fantasy world. Boy lives in fantasy world for long time.
Guilt; always trying to escape real world – and remembers girl.
Leaves and returns to real world. Girl and boy followed by villain
from fantasy world secretly at first. Hope at first for boy to go
back to fantasy world as Delwyn and girl as Lilianna – then
find out villain followed. Villain is real person, not made-up.
Villain attacks; boy and girl not strong enough to defend. Defended
by angel. Go to fantasy world to have wounds healed. Live their days
